Orion Technologies, LLC (Orion), a rapidly growing advertising optimizations technology company, is seeking a talented and dynamic Director of Strategy and Partnerships to join our team. The Director of Strategy and Partnerships will be responsible for overseeing strategy and partnership growth. The candidate has a proven track record within the advertising technology industry, specifically driving strategy across platforms and verticals (supply and demand side), as well as, helping guide future technology development. The candidate will also have experience in reporting, ad operations working across internal departments and with multiple external stakeholders. Leveraging their existing insights and industry contacts the applicant will be able to hit the ground running as a self-starter. In short, this position will have a key seat at the executive table making decisions and driving current operations, as well as, helping develop and implement future strategies. This position has 3 weeks paid vacation, a very lucrative compensation/bonus/profit sharing package, as well as, the potential of a future equity stake in Orion Technologies. Requires some travel, and industry references.
Responsibilities
  • Proactively work directly with existing and new accounts and their respective points of contact
  • Leverage contacts to scale current operations into new networks, platforms and opportunities
  • Support tag creation/implementation, QA, and reporting
  • Monitor campaigns throughout their lifecycle, communicating with account managers, creative agencies and vendors on issues as needed
  • Optimize campaigns, including reviewing reports and making suggestions for improving performance
  • Work closely with ad ops on strategy and implementation as well as daily tasks
  • Provide pre-implementation and post-implementation support to publishers and demand side partners
  • Coordinate with our Engineering Dept. to provide assistance in identifying, reporting and resolving technical issues
  • Help drive the company‚Äôs strategy and technology development
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in advertising technology and relative platforms such as LKQD, AOL, SpotX, SpringServe, Cedato and others
  • Experience working with CRM tools
  • Expert level analytical and problem-solving abilities, along with an ability to collaborate cross-functionally
  • Carries an existing book of industry contacts that can be leveraged into the new position
  • Superb troubleshooting skills and strong attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent listening skills and the ability to adjust to the personalities of various partners
  • Strong project management, organization and prioritization skills
  • Ability to multitask with effective resolution management in a fast-paced, growing environment
Additional Skills (not required)
  • Experience in bidders (rollout, development, etc)
  • College Degree or equivalent
